Heidi Gianni
Heidi Gianni is a Christian author, former educator, and devoted follower of Jesus. She is passionate about helping people discover the goodness of God in everyday life. A lifelong student of Scripture, Heidi writes to encourage both seekers and believers to pursue a deeper, more personal relationship with God—one that transforms the heart and leads to an abundant life.
Her debut book, Hunting for Honey, is a heartfelt collection of true stories, reflections, and biblical truths that invite readers to seek God intentionally and recognize His presence—both in the ordinary and the extraordinary. Inspired by Jeremiah 29:13, her message is clear: when we search for God with all our hearts, we will find Him—and what we find is truly life-changing.
Heidi earned her B.A. in Elementary Teaching from San Diego State University and an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction. She spent six years as an early childhood educator before choosing to stay home and raise her children. That season of motherhood and soul-searching sparked her journey of writing and deeper faith.
Born and raised in San Diego, Heidi now calls Dallas, Texas home—though she sneaks back to visit family and friends as often as she can. She has also lived in London and spent time in Kona, Hawaii—experiences that deepened her love for culture, beauty, and adventure with God.
Heidi has been married to her husband, Michael, for 27 years and is the proud mom of three grown sons—Jake, Luke, and Ryan. She also has a little white dog named Xander.
When she’s not writing, you can find Heidi at a barre class, baking sourdough, or playing Mahjong with friends. Her greatest joy is encouraging others to draw closer to God and experience the sweet, abundant life He offers.
"The world might say it was foolish, but trusting the Lord was all we needed."
